SUSAN KRAMER ENCOURAGES 'AT - RISK' CONSTITUENTS TO HAVE A FLU JAB

With the clocks going back and winter approaching, MP Susan Kramer has backed the annual campaign for people over 65 and those in high risk groups to get a flu jab.

She took part in a health promotion for MPs at the Commons this week.

Susan Kramer said:

" People over the age of 65 and those in at-risk groups, in the Richmond Park area, should book into their GP surgeries for the free flu vaccination.

"Flu vaccination plays an important role in protecting people who are more susceptible to serious complications from the condition.

" People with chronic respiratory conditions, diabetes or with heart or liver diseases all fall into the eligible category for the free vaccination.

" I hope the message will get home those in Richmond Park who can take advantage of this service so that we can prevent additional illnesses during the winter."
